Just because something is natural, it doesn’t make it is safe or non- toxic.
There are some natural products that have a 100% original nature but that could seriously harm us if inhaled or came in contact with our skin!
Handling pesticides is not a job that should be taken lightly. It is essential to wear the right protection so as not to come into contact with certain substances, or worse, take them home through contaminated clothes.
Pesticides can enter our body through the eyes, nose, mouth and skin.
The most frequent route of penetration occurs through the skin, therefore this risk of exposure must be prevented. This can be done by wearing the right gear, such as:
- Chemical resistant gloves
- Non-permeable shoes/boots
- Protective glasses /Goggles
- Protective hat
- Long sleeves and long-legged pants
I have spent many hours researching and testing the best protective wear on the market for gardening and pest control.
These are the products I warmly recommend.
